Mistakes can feel painful, particularly when you are just starting out as an attorney or summer associate. So this interactive workshop was created to help you anticipate some of the most common blunders new associates and summer associates make, before you fall victim to them yourself.

You’ll also learn a series of more advanced techniques, ones that will help you write clearly and effectively, whether you are composing a brief, crafting a contract, or putting together a high-stakes email.

Training outcomes

  • Learn how to avoid common grammatical pitfalls.
  • Learn how to arange complex information in a reader-useful way.
  • Learn how to both give and get better feedback.

Real documents, live collaboration, no pressure

In each live, online session, we'll work in small teams on realistic documents and scenarios to improve your writing skills.

These will be learning spaces for stretching and practicing—without pressure of evaluation or competition.

All sessions are open to all law students, soon-to-be law students, and recent law school graduates and will be initially capped at 50 participants, with a waitlist.
